বাংলা নববর্ষ ১৪৩২ উপলক্ষে ড্যাফোডিল ইন্সটিটিউট অব ইঞ্জিনিয়ারিং অ্যান্ড টেকনোলজি-তে (DIET) বর্ণাঢ্য উৎসবের আয়োজন করা হয়। নববর্ষ বাঙালির প্রাণের উৎসব—যেখানে জাতি, ধর্ম, বর্ণ নির্বিশেষে সবাই মিলিত হয় বাঙালিয়ানার এক অনন্য আনন্দঘন পরিবেশে। প্রতিষ্ঠানটির সকল বিভাগ ও সাংস্কৃতিক ক্লাবের সম্মিলিত প্রয়াসে আয়োজনটি ছিল মনোমুগ্ধকর এবং শিক্ষার্থীদের সাংস্কৃতিক সৃজনশীলতা ও 
ঐতিহ্যবাহী মূল্যবোধের অনন্য প্রকাশ।
উৎসবের সূচনা হয় সকাল ৮:৩০ মিনিটে, যেখানে সকল বিভাগের দায়িত্বপ্রাপ্ত শিক্ষার্থীরা একত্রিত হয়ে নিজ নিজ স্টল প্রস্তুত করতে ব্যস্ত হয়ে পড়েন। রঙ-বেরঙের ব্যানার, মুখোশ, ঐতিহ্যবাহী পণ্যের প্রদর্শনীসহ স্টলগুলো বৈশাখের আমেজকে ফুটিয়ে তোলে। ঠিক সকাল ৯:০০টায় স্টল কার্যক্রম আনুষ্ঠানিকভাবে শুরু হয়।
সকাল ১০:০০টায় DIET সংস্কৃতির উল্লাস সাংস্কৃতিক ক্লাব থাকে শিক্ষার্থীরা একত্রিত হয়ে একসাথে বৈশাখী গান পরিবেশন করেন। “এসো হে বৈশাখ” গানসহ বিভিন্ন লোকগীতি পরিবেশনার মাধ্যমে বাঙালির হাজার বছরের সংস্কৃতিকে শ্রদ্ধার সাথে স্মরণ করা হয়।
এরপরে, সকাল ১০:১০ থেকে ১০:২০ পর্যন্ত সকলে স্টল ঘুরে ঘুরে পরিদর্শন করেন। প্রতিটি স্টলের পেছনে ছিল শিক্ষার্থীদের নিজস্ব চিন্তাধারা ও ঐতিহ্যবাহী উপস্থাপন যা প্রশংসা কুড়িয়েছে উপস্থিত সবার কাছ থেকে।
এরপর, সকাল ১০:৪০ থেকে ১১:৫০ পর্যন্ত চলে সাংস্কৃতিক অনুষ্ঠান, যা আয়োজনের প্রাণ ছিল। সাংস্কৃতিক ক্লাবের নেতৃত্বে শিক্ষার্থীরা নৃত্য, গান, কবিতা আবৃত্তি ও নাট্য পরিবেশনার মাধ্যমে বাংলা
সংস্কৃতিকে জীবন্ত করে তোলেন। এতে অংশগ্রহণকারী প্রতিটি পরিবেশনা উপভোগ করেন অতিথি, শিক্ষক ও ছাত্রছাত্রীবৃন্দ।
পহেলা বৈশাখ ১৪৩২ উপলক্ষে ড্যাফোডিল ইনস্টিটিউট অফ ইঞ্জিনিয়ারিং অ্যান্ড টেকনোলজি কর্তৃক আয়োজিত হয় একটি বাঙালিয়ানা মেলা, যেখানে স্থান পেয়েছিল মেয়েদের চুরি, মালা সহ নানা রকম অলংকার। এছাড়া প্রদর্শিত হয়েছিল গ্রাম বাংলার ঐতিহ্যবাহী কুঠির শিল্প, একতারা, বাঁশিসহ নানা লোকশিল্প এবং সংস্কৃতির নমুনা।
সাংস্কৃতিক অনুষ্ঠানের পর শুরু হয় “আনন্দ শোভাযাত্রা”—একটি বর্ণাঢ্য র্যালি যা DIET থেকে DPI এবং পুনরায় DIET পর্যন্ত অনুষ্ঠিত হয়। শিক্ষার্থীদের তত্ত্বাবধানে র্যালিটি পরিচালিত হয়। এতে মুখোশ,বাদ্যযন্ত্র, ঐতিহ্যবাহী প্রতীক ও বৈশাখী সাজে সজ্জিত অংশগ্রহণকারীদের পদচারণায় মুখর ছিল পুরো ক্যাম্পাস।
সবশেষে, ১২:২০ মিনিটে আয়োজনের আনুষ্ঠানিক সমাপ্তি ঘোষণা করা হয়। শিক্ষার্থীদের প্রাণবন্ত অংশগ্রহণ, শিক্ষকদের নিরলস পরিশ্রম ও সাংস্কৃতিক ক্লাবের সমন্বিত প্রচেষ্টায় দিনটি হয়ে ওঠে স্মরণীয়।

DIET Celebrates Bangla New Year 1432 with Colorful Festivities
On the occasion of Bangla New Year 1432, Daffodil Institute of Engineering and Technology (DIET) hosted a vibrant and festive celebration. Pohela Boishakh is a cherished celebration for Bengalis—where people from all walks of life come together to immerse themselves in the joyous spirit of Bengali culture. The combined efforts of all departments and cultural clubs made the event truly mesmerizing, reflecting the students’ creative talents and respect for traditional values.
The festival began at 8:30 AM, with students from all departments busy setting up their respective stalls. Colorful banners, masks, and displays of traditional goods brought the festive spirit of Boishakh to life. Official stall activities kicked off at 9:00 AM.
At 10:00 AM, students from DIET’s cultural club “Ullash” came together to perform traditional Boishakhi songs. Starting with “Esho He Boishakh,” they presented various folk songs that paid tribute to Bengal’s thousand-year-old heritage.
From 10:10 to 10:20 AM, attendees visited the stalls. Each stall reflected the students’ unique ideas and traditional presentations, which received praise from all visitors.
From 10:40 to 11:50 AM, a cultural program—the heart of the event—was held. Students led by the cultural club brought Bengali culture to life through dance, music, poetry recitations, and theatrical performances. Guests, faculty members, and students thoroughly enjoyed every performance.
To mark Pohela Boishakh 1432, DIET organized a traditional Bengali fair that featured women’s jewelry like bangles and necklaces. Also showcased were samples of rural Bangladeshi cottage industries, including ektara (a traditional instrument), flutes, and other folk crafts and cultural artifacts.
After the cultural performances, a vibrant “Ananda Shovajatra” (festive rally) was held. The rally started at DIET, went to DPI, and returned to DIET. Supervised by students, the parade was filled with participants adorned in traditional Boishakhi attire, carrying masks, musical instruments, and cultural symbols, filling the entire campus with festive energy.
Finally, at 12:20 PM, the event was officially concluded. The day became memorable due to the enthusiastic participation of students, the tireless efforts of teachers, and the collaborative work of the cultural club.
